This research guide is intended to let faculty know the basics about copyright and fair use, and how it applies to their course materials.

Use Resources with a Creative Commons License

Creative Commons
Creative Commons is a system of licensing that was developed as an alternative to copyright. Most works that are licensed as Creative Commons "CC" are free to use, but many have some sort of catch, such as attribution, no derivatives, or non-commercial use.
From this site, users can search for images, audio, and video that feature a Creative Commons license.
